Our premise: They don't make stuff the way They used to. We, hence, sell the stuff They used to make it, in PRISTINE condition. We recognize the potential upside that pristine vintage and antique FLAASH holds for the long-term investor. (It is impeccably crafted, of limited edition, special in a manner which makes it timeless and, therefore, guaranteed to dramatically appreciate in value.) We purchase it at affordable prices, professionally clean it, and sell it at affordable prices. OUR OBJECTIVE: PLEASE ALL OF OUR CUSTOMERS ALL OF THE TIME. We have absolute faith in the value our merchandise holds for the long-term investor. If it goes unsold, we happily retain it for the long-term. Unfortunately, all that is old is not FLAASH. Much of it is merely passé. Therefore, each item we sell includes a “FLAASH FACTOR” or indication as to why we deem it worthy of the acronym. Vintage and antique merchandise don’t have to be FLAASH in order to appreciate in value, ONLY to gain our stamp of approval as an optimal investment. We pride ourselves in the ability to positively identify FLAASH. In addition to being impeccably crafted, true FLAASH is stylish in a manner that holds timeless appeal. Our last two, for example, were 40 Pieces of Silver (A 6-day event, featuring only Sterling Silver merchandise) and Marked Madness (A 24 hour event, featuring only merchandise marked by a Designer).

We specialize in the provision of statement pieces for every wardrobe & living space, no matter how particular or needy. We favor 925 Sterling as, in our view, nothing ages so nicely or presents with such bucholic charm. We do employ an actual CODE, as follows: CODE I = Vintage; CODE II = Antique; and CODE III (II-GOOD-II-B-II), to be introduced in May, will be largely reserved for our FIRST Annual CODE Christmas FLAASH-TASTIC. Bio: MHM has a BS in Social Work from Nazareth College in Pittsford, NY, and an MS from Columbia University in NYC with a concentration in Psychiatric Social Work. JEM has a BA in English from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, and an MS in Education from The State University of New York. We've both enjoyed careers working in the field of Human Service with some of the coolest young people EVER. HPM and SJM haven't been around as long as we, but they have their PH D's in FLAASH (which, in terms of providing holistic perspective, insight, and a jagged-edge, is critically important).

One could argue the use of a CODE is superfluous. However, one could argue the same of fashion in general. It's not merely a matter of function; never has been. Style is the triumphant parlay of form AND function. It is, in fact, our fluency with style, form, and function that enables us to discern FLAASH proper. In that sense, a Rationale for The Code is comparable to the Rationale for Sunglasses: style, mystique, and NOT getting burned. Indeed, MHM and I view selling on Ebay as an extension of our careers. We believe it's possible to profit in the Private Sector while actually providing opportunity. Making money as per profit is, in our view, not the problem. It's greed, as per the love of money, which is the root of all E-Vile. Our mission: to buck that trend by offering solid investments at reasonable cost.
