Canon 55-250mm IS lens
I purchased this lens to compliment my lens stable it fills a need in the nature pics in high contrast area's where the heavy lens like the 70-200 f/2.8
IS and the 100-400 IS L lens are a little to much on long or awkward trails.
This paticular lens is most sharp at f/7.1 to f/11 and gets a little soft
at 180 -210mm unless it is on tripod and using remote release, even then not
all shots are impressive. All in all it is a fairly good lens for the money
for certain applications.The light weight and decent quality is worth the
money to add to your lens collection's.

Canon 28-300mm L IS USM lens
2 of 2 found this helpful The 28-300mm l is Canon lens is by far a better lens for IMQ,contrast, focus,
and confident picture capture. Owning four L class lens has taught me the
value of these lens. They are pricy and a few are heavy as in the 28-300
the most in my opinion, the adage[you get what you pay for] is true in my
experience. Having tried Sigma, Tamron, and some of the standard Canon lens
none will compare to a L class lens.Save,swap,sell or what is needed to
purchase the 28-300 l is lens or a L lens and you will not regret the investment-I haven't, so far I really am satisfied with the quality of this
lens and hope to expand to a super telephoto 600-800 l is one day hopefully.
If you are serious about your picture capture and want the best image quality
and [who does not really] the 28-300 is a great but heavy[ my only complaint]
lens to fill the every day shot's that you may find in your picture pursuit's
I highly recommend the Canon 28-300 L IS lens.
