Thanks All, I am still here, just put more time into the brick and mortar after revolting against Ebays ridiculous business ethics and even worse fees to consumers.. Hope you are all well

I hear ya and agree with 90%25 of the review. I do take some exception to the fact that any time things are marketed this way it's a scam or put-on. I use it for marketing only never removing any coins. I may sort but don't pull anything out. For example I have 1000+ wheat cents all that has been done is sorted according to decade and counted by hand as to not damage in a machine. I know for a fact that there are 1931-D's in there at least a G and a F/VF depending on subjective grading ANA standards it's a solid F maybe F+ notation of some sort. They will be included. Also I do sell some coins seperately but not due to searching I get some from rolls or pick up cheap duplicates or get them bulk myself. They aren't out of the bulk offerings I make and market as unsearched. I know I may be in the 10%25 or so of honest ebayers but this review makes it seem like any time someone sees unsearched or bulk to run away and not buy. Maybe I'm missing something and it's just my two cents.

We can't prove these scammers coins are "searched", but look at it this way, they can't prove they are "UNSEARCHED"! The odds of these coins being searched are WAAAY higher than being "unsearched". Really, who is going to sell coins without looking at them, first? I don't sell my massive collection, yet I have looked at each and every one at least twice! Really, spend about $300 or more for a good brand name (Whites is my choice) metal detector, go to the old parts of your cities/towns, go up to the door of houses 50 years and older and ask permission to detect the front yard. If granted, do the back! Do empty, abandoned and boarded up houses. Yards is where the coins are. Trust me on this one. Parks/schools have been detected to death. It takes guts to knock on someones door and ask if you can dig in the yard. About 1/2 the time, I get permission. Just state you keep what you find. If you get a goodie and they show an interest, offer to go to a coin shop and buy the equivilant coin.

To anybody who is interested in buying "unsearched" coins on ebay, my advice is this: Don't. Just don't. No. I ask these "unsearched" dealers time and time again: "Where are the SEARCHED coins for sale on ebay?" Only one (out of dozens) answered with, "They are everywhere on ebay." I google "wheat pennies" and all claim "unsearched" What are the odds? As far as wheats, they have been searched over and over since 1909 when the '09 S VDB was discontinued. Do what I do for "unsearched" coins...buy a metal detector! I managed to get an '09 S VDB in the same front yard that gave up a Walking Liberty 1/2 dollar (got 9 of just those so far in 18 years) Forget ebay for unsearched coins. It is all a lie for these sellers to unload worn, high mintage cents. Damn liars/thieves, they are!

mjspielvogle@yahoo.com Read your info on coin grading with great interest. Have your heard of company NCGS? Was wondering if this company is now NCG.

Oh, thanks alot! I have been watching some bullion but it seemed so expensive to me too. I watch live quotes on cnbc on the gold and silver and couldn't figure why the hike in price with these sellers! Now I know -I'm going to let my fingers do the walking as well as my feet! Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see GOD. Be blessed.

YOUR GUIDE IS EXTREMELY HELPFUL!!Im not an American, living in an Asian country but I have been collecting our local coins for more than 30 years, and from time to time buying mint coins from our Central Bank.Coin collecting in the Philippines has never reached a level the same way in US.The hobby is almost limited to the wealthy, but im not in that social bracket.Lately, i begun reading the histories of lincoln cents, morgan dollars, and about error coins (CONECA).Im fascinated how much the american numismatist put so much premium on error coins, particulatly the Lincoln cent, and I can say finding error coins from pocket change is really worth the effort.Your guide in buying coins at ebay, and caution on even buying encapsulated graded coins on ebay has put a break on my near buying frenzy in purchasing american coins.Your honest to goodness articles re buying coins and even commenting against ebay on buying gold bullions made me realize that your an honest dealer.
