My name is Carla VanKoughnett. I've been practicing art and music as a hobby since I was 5 years old. Selling through auctions, and farmers markets. I've done many requests, and I always welcome new ideas:)

I collect old bottles and treasures I find in the bush when I go hiking a logging road.. and various items that have big memories attached to them, and drawings that others have sketched in my sketch book :)

for clarification to people who may think the acrylic work is a printed.. Its acrylic paint rolled onto a table and then I place tape around the edges of the paint to create a frame using the paint.. then a piece of paper is set on top of the paint, and I draw the picture pressing the paint under the paper to the paper using something with a fine tip.. After that I pull the paper off and Viola! A Unique and Original piece of art as there is not any copies or tracing involved :) My acrylic work is completely hand-made, and free-hand.. prints are made from a copy machine, and not from an artists hand :)

I draw each picture free-hand, using what paper and what pencils are available to me. I do Sketches, Portraits, and mostly work with my Tribal Tattoo Art.. although I have been seeing a lot more of this style since I first started working with it :P.. I create an outline sketch first to know what I'm working with, and if requested I fill the sketch with other images to create the body of the picture I first drew.. and trust me I can put any form inside of another :).. or I can fill in the spaces in such a way to try and balance the form through out the whole picture. Again all my pencil work is done completely free-hand. That is what makes art Unique, and Original. I provide the originals for competitive bidding here on eBay. All requests are welcome.
