Easy to Read and Understand
The NCLEX notes and Key Concept are a must know, I love the care plan content and how it shows you therapeutic communication skills basically for every other chapter.
Overall, the book is very easy to understand.
I left a review on the 5th edition but here's an update: The revised edition 5 is Not the same as the 5th edition; the revised edition uses a different DSM V format... had to return the 5th edition I ordered for the revised edition 5 format even though the difference is to go up two pages if looking for a specific page number.
Will recommend this text.

Same as the Enhanced Update Edition, SAVE your money!
Purchased the Psychiatric Nursing Contemporary Practice by Mary Ann Boyd 5th Edition and had to go back to purchase the same book that has the "Enhanced Update" on it because that was the one required by the school (spent about $75 on the new edition); however, I compared both texts and they are the same had to return the new edition in other to save.
Key is to go down two pages; for instance, page 107 on this text is page 105 on the new or enhanced update edition.
Book is very easy to read, I love the NCLEX Notes, therapeutic dialogues, tables... in the texts as those were the areas my instructor focused on.
