A hardy little phone
2 of 2 found this helpful This little "Corvette" is a delight ... if you are looking for a PHONE. (doesn't do I-pod stuff and is not ideal for texting, but I have owned one of these puppies since the model was first produced about five years ago. I bought it because of the manufacturer's claim that it was designed with Construction trades in mind. I Climbed poles for AT&T and carried it with me constantly. The poor thing got dropped, kicked, tossed, and whacked by myself and my co-workers at the time. The longest drop was about 20 feet onto hard soil one time; and about eight feet onto concrete another. It just kept on tickin'. I lost it in a Manhole in about two feet of water once and didn't find it again until the next day ... dried it off, let it sit in the sun on my dashboard for most of the work day, put it back together, charged the battery and it worked like a charm.. ( I call it the little corvette, because my daughter saw it on the table one evening and said it looked just like the front of the neighbor's Corvette parked across the street. She used to drive it around on the dinner table and make motor noises.) I lost my original G'zOne on a plane somewhere in Dallas. Had to have another. Still love it.

This particular door handle is supposed to fit several General Motors vehicles. It is definitely of good quality and will be very satisfactory on my 2011 Chevy Avalanche. However, the two threaded reciever holes into which the screws must fit were slightly off which made it necessary to use a round file in order to finish the installation properly. Other than that, I am quite pleased with the product.
