We are animal lovers! Cleo is our black and white rat terrier pound puppy who wants to run the whole household. Nicknames: Cleopotimus, Itchy Butt (she has allergies) and many others. Mmah is our Jack Russell terrier who climbs trees to check her territory. She has taken on all critters that invade her space and she doesn't back down. Nicknames: EmmieLou when she is feeling a little bit country, EmmieBoo when she is feeling a little bit scarey! and so on! She loves us unconditionally! Cats Rosie and Zoe are old maid sisters born in 1992 in the attic over Hondo Crouch's kitchen. They have never seen a highway and are still with us in 2011. Cats Di and Dodi born in 1997 and named for Princess Di and Dodi Al Fayed who were tragically taken in that awful accident. Unfortunately Dodi passed on today 2/14/07 from a back injury he could no longer deal with. We will miss him.

Dottie's Rocks became a business in 2004 and has evolved from rock collecting and polishing to creating and casting some of our own jewelry designs and settings. Our store name has never changed to reflect the change from lapidary to casting settings and creating jewelry by Varm and Dottie. Many people want to know who Varm is. Varm is my husband and the creator of so many of our band designs. I can do silversmithing by copying whereas Varm thinks them and creates them! He never ceases to amaze me with his new creations! Daughter Kate and grand daughter Chase help us in the jewelry making business and it makes for a pleasant day to have them with us! They help keep things running at a steady pace and we couldn't do this without their help!!!
