Shocked at the great results
I listened to my mechanic who tried to do his but could not and almost sent these back before I tried. However, using a big screwdriver it was pretty easy. Just slowly pry the original lens off as you go around the edge. I went the extra mile and applied electrical putty by rolling out into long snake like sections and laying it in the housing groove to make a water proof seal. I could not have hoped for a better result. A bit of work because you have to take off the bumper. However, I just did one side at a time and it worked great. If you are in a cold climate, you might have to use a heat gun loosen the sealer. Mine was not glue or silicone. It was more like a putty like what I used to reseal.

It is the difference in buying a Mercedes and Toyota. Go cheap but don't expect much.
This is my second Thinkware dash cam. I have had a cheaper cameras for other cars and while they are ok,the Thinkware has so many more features and a rear view cam.

Smooth with great grip.
They really roll smooth over bumps setup as tubeless. They feel like tubulars. Surprising grip when off road.
