Greatest Hits by Tommy Roe
This is just what the title implies, Tommy Roe's greatest hits. All of the songs I was looking for are here along with a few other nice songs: Dizzy, Jam Up and Jelly Tight, Horray for Hazel, Jack and Jill, etc. If you like Tommy Roe then this is for you. I didn't like him much at the time, I was a 1910 Fruitgum Company fan. But the songs have stuck in my head over the years and seem to have held up well. I was surprised after getting the CD to see that Tommy Roe was involved in the writing of most of the hits. I had always assumed someone else churned them out for him. If you never heard of him you will probably not be looking at this, but if you are looking for his best songs then you will be quite happy with this CD. Hope that you enjoy and regain some pleasant memories!

With a Little Help From Our Friends
The CD stands out well on it's own. And then when you consider it is early Bob & Tom it is even better. The parody of The Beatles Sgt. Pepper is done very well. I am a big Beatles fan myself, along with Bob & Tom. I was extremely happy and somewhat surprised by how good it was. They were still "local Q-95" then, and a lot of their early material was localized with a lot of "Indy stuff". But this like Sgt. Peppers showed a vision of what was to come. A few cuts are kind of dated with current events, but that is not a problem, there are some classic cuts here: "Eighteen Wheels On A Big Rig" and "Blow Me A Kiss" for example, along with "Mad Dog", The Love Brothers, The King and Brad Garrett to name a few. And it reminds us how much we miss Pat Carlini! So for those Bob & Tom fans you will not be disappointed, for Beatles fans you will be satisfied and for someone not familiar at all you will be greatly amused and entertained! Thanks go to Bob, Tom, Kristi, Chick and the whole gang on a super effort that is still fun to hear. Hope this is helpful to someone considering the CD and encourages them to give it a try. I highly recommend it. And Thank You! all for taking the time to read this. Gary
