A great camera for a great price
9 of 9 found this helpful I'm not a photography pro. I'm not even a serious amateur. I bought the camera for family gatherings, parties, vacations, etc. This is my 4th digital camera but only my second superzoom. I do have some 35mm film experience from before the digicam boom.
First impressions: This is a BIG camera! Hefty too. It has a good feel to it though. It seems solid and substantial, like a little brick. The rubber coating provides a secure grip. It is very comfortable in my medium-sized man hands.
The good: Beautiful, detailed pictures with vibrant, saturated color. Fast auto focus--even in poor light, fast boot-up, and no appreciable shutter lag. The video camera is better than expected--great audio and excellent video even in marginal light. The 30X zoom is astonishing. Thanks to highly effective anti-shake, I find I can often use full zoom with no tripod! The price is half that of comparable offerings from other brands. The free, on-line instruction book from Kodak is both detailed and informative.
The bad: The image review after each snapshot takes too long and I can find no way to shorten or disable it, so rapid followup shots are not possible. The menu structure is peculiar and the placement of the many control buttons was confusing at first. I've gotten used to it, but it took practice. The instruction booklet that came in the box is thin--almost useless.
My favorite feature: The "Kodacolor" filter is my hands-down favorite gadget. I leave it enabled almost all the time now. It really does add that rich, saturated Kodak color that I remember from my 35mm days. There's no denying the nostalgic appeal, and the pictures look...well...alive!
The bottom line: This is a great-performing camera at a bargain price! The still images and video are simply stunning. It is useful under many, many different lighting situations thanks to its expansive feature set. You can't get a better camera anywhere for this price.

Dazzling Display
This V40 is my third LG phone and it's the best one so far. It is slim, lightweight, and beautiful. Touch control is perfect. Buttons are minimal and have a good tactile feel to them. But the display is where this thing really stands out. It is bright, crisp, and saturated. It looks like a glossy cover from a National Geographic Magazine. These are very affordable on ebay. You don't need to spend $900 to get a flagship phone. Really great product. I love it!

SanDisk Never Disappoints
2 of 2 found this helpful I needed more storage for my LG G20 phone so I bought a no-name brand 64GB card because it was super cheap.. It worked for a day and promptly dumped all my photos! I reformatted the thing and tried again. This time it un-docked itself twice in one day. I did what I should've done the first time and ordered a 64GB SanDisk. It has worked perfectly ever since! Don't waste your time and money on un-branded flash media. Just buy a SanDisk and be done with it.
