A group of Mexican-Americans are being sent to San Quentin without substantial evidence. Zoot Suits were the clothing of the time and the people that wore them were targets of racism and violence. This story is based on the actual Sleepy Lagoon murder case.

Excellent follow up
May I suggest you read her first book first, "Crazy Sexy Cancer" It was nice to follow up on the life of this young lady who has battled cancer both in front of the camera and on paper.
