4 of 4 found this helpful I have been using HP calculators with RPN for many years. About 30 years back one of my professors (teaching electrical power engineering) indicated that if we students WERE NOT using HP RPN calculators we were at a disadvantage in his course. I had just purchase a top-of-the-line non-RPN calculator, but not wanting to be at a disadvantage in speed and performance in his course I immediately purchased an HP RPN version. It was a especially good move and I have thoroughly enjoyed RPN since then. At the present time I am preparing to initiate my grandkids with RPN calculators. This unit is more advanced than those I have used in the past. Using it is EVEN GREATER FUN !!!! jt

Intermediate Algebra by M. Sullivan and K. Struve
In my view: Exceptionally well done text book. Hope to use it to supplement math courses for our grandkids' home schooling. It would seen that the authors put a great deal of effort into getting it right. They have my respect and gratitude. jt

Great Material For Supplementing Home-Schooling prog.
It appears that the book will work well in supplementing our home-schooling materials. It covers a nice range of math to help better prepare our kids for the adventures of college math and sciences. Our thanks to the authors. jt
