We are a registered charity, raising money for our Wildlife Rescue Centre: Knoxwood Wildlife Rescue Trust. We rescue, rehabilitate and re release almost every British species and rescue a lot of the more unusual pet creatures.

Quite simply... people donate stuff for us to sell, we sell it, we use the money to pay feed bills and vets bills for our sanctuary. 100% of the sale cost goes straight to the animals and your purchase could do anything from pay for a specialist operation such as a barn owls broken wing pinned to buying some corn for our rescue hens!

Knoxwood Was founded in 1982, as a few sheds and all the injured wildlife was treated in our kitchen, since then we have converted our 3 acre ex-landfill site, in Wigton, Cumbria to a full blown wildlife sanctuary with a purpose built Wildlife Hospital where we treat around 2000 birds and animals per year. We have a non-destruction policy, which means we do not put to sleep any animal or bird that has a chance of recovery.

We like to keep P&P as low as we can. Thus all postage is 2nd class unless otherwise stated. We add about 30-40p to cover packing etc to the actual weight cost.

We will accept returns, but only if the problem was caused by us (broken by bad packing or the item was not listed properly) I will not refund anything that doesn't fit or you just don't like. Please ask any questions before bidding or buying, we will weigh, measure or size anything and will do our best to help.
