Genuine Alfa product
This is a genuine alfa 036nha that is locked to the GB region. The max txpower I was able to get out of this was 100mw (20dbm) without modifying the firmware.
After modifying the 24c08 i2c eeprom I could get more power out of it. The modification was to change the region to BO or US and then update the eeprom's checksum.
This adapter now works on Windows and on linux and also on my MR3020 OpenWrt router.
This adapter can see AP's my other adapter was not able to pick up.
Very good and genuin alfa product using the AR9271 chip.
