A great biography pic
5 of 5 found this helpful This film was endorsed by Mr. Sinatra while he was alive. His daughter Tina produced it with love. He knew his life couldn't be written by him as it would take volumes; so at Tina's suggestion they chose a mini series. Philip Cassonoff was outstanding as the chairman of the board and Marcia Gay Harden was fantastic as Ava Gardner. I waited until this movie became available on DVD to buy it. the soundtrack on the film is great. buy that as well. this is a must for Frank Sinatra fans to treasure.

a beautiful forbidden love
I absolutely loved this mini series. It stars Richard Chamberlain who portrays a priest torn between his ambition of the church vs. his love for Rachel Ward who he watched grow up. this movie caused quite a stir with the Catholic church 25 years ago. boy how time flies. part 3 is the best part to me. a must have for your DVD collection.
