I've been drawing ever since I realized that one could do something with pencils besides chew on them, but it's only been about a year since I started selling pictures on eBay. I discovered the wonderful world of the miniature paintings known as ACEOs in the fall of 2005, and I've been hooked ever since. I mostly draw and paint fantasy critters in a style I call 'cutism' (basically, big-eyed and adorable), but I also do more realistic fantasy, wildlife, horses, cats, and other critters on occasion. Ever now and then I've even been goaded into drawing people.

PayPal is my best friend (you can use PayPal to pay directly from your bank account, or with a credit card), but I also accept personal checks and money orders. My PayPal email address is mhw@mistique.com.

I try to ship items for which I have received payment out within a day or so, but sometimes Real Life rears its ugly head and I get delayed by a day or two. If there's a significant delay in shipping your order, I'll let you know.

Why is it that some eBayers don't accept returns? Do they know something about their product that we don't? I don't want you to have bought something from me with which you're not happy, and if you would like to return anything you've bought from me, for any reason, just let me know within 14 days or receiving it and you can send it back to me for a full refund of your purchase price.

Yes, I do commissions. If you like what you see while browsing through some of my art and want me to paint something special just for you, just drop me an email and let me know what you'd like. My prices aren't sky-high either (for example, an 8x10 painting might run you something like $80), so getting an original painting isn't going to break the bank. I think pretty pictures should be affordable.
