All About MeWhat everyone should know about me
If I have it for sale on Ebay, then it is not available at my retail location. I do not play that game! If you have the winning bid, then you won it.

Business InformationHistory/background
I was collecting/restoring Small Honda motorcycles, then station wagons, then pickup trucks and the 'pass thru' stuff became an annual business at the Carlisle truck show. And so did selling my stereos at the same or on Craigslist. So there I went. I have branched out into some antique furnishings, but mostly 'american pickers' stuff. since I spent so much time in barns and salvage yards, I know where to get it and what to pay for it. So you will see me selling primarily auto/garage items, electronics, tools and auto-related toys (tonkas etc). I move far more on Craigslist and prefer handing people the item face to face.
Payment policy
Ebay forces us to use paypal (they own paypal) so we have to, which means we lose 15-30% on each sale.
Shipping information
Ebay taxes part of the shipping, and taxes it again on paypal so you lose about 14% or more of shipping. I try to make the shipping a zero sum deal, but I find I have to add a handling fee of a few bucks here and there as the ebay postage calculator they force us to use, understates by a few bucks. Someone has to pay for the insurance (which is how I send everything now) and the packing materials. Since the post office demands their due, each auction lists the amount charged for packing and insurance. I do not make a dime on this and most times, lose on shipping such that I have sold many $5 items for free due to the charges...
Return policy
Generally no returns. But if you want to ship it back, and it is not broken, perhaps I can be persuaded to refund the purchase price minus the fees ebay takes. But it has to be a good reason. 'its not what I thought it was' is not a good reason. I am loathe to ship my electonics out. Id rather hand them to a buyer working. Too many scammers online that buy, claim its broken, but want a refund AND the item. Yeah ok, we were born yesterday.... I comply with Ebays rules. which state, if returned to me and found to truly be defective that was not described (and not destroyed by the post office - hence insurance) then I offer full refunds. I have had two scammers in the last few months try the old switcharoo so I may be dropping electronics totally. which is a shame because I have a knack for finding the vintage 70's stuff and getting them working just like when you were in HS.
Contact information
You can email me a question at any time. I often have many many more hi-def pics of the item being sold such that you can zoom in. Email me a real email and I will send them.
Electronics Policy
Unless otherwise stated, all my electronics work - period. And are tested - period. If I do a restore on an item then it is covered by my no questions asked 30 day warranty - within ebay or without. Get it back to me - get a check (or cash). Exclusions of course are purposeful damage, power spikes etc. I go thru a thorough check out procedure shipping day. Each item is verified by a 3rd party. No DOA.
Electronics Fraud Prevention
All vintage stereo stuff has a serial number. It is listed in the auction, on the pics, on the description. Furthermore, each item has board serials and revs which I record, as well as mark the unit in locations a certina way (visible and invisible) and photograph. You will get what I describe. and it protects myself as it is documented how it went into the box and I guard against people owning a broken one, buying a working one, then trying to return the broken one. Scammers are getting smart, but I am smarter. Each of my units can be tracked to the day of manufacture 40 odd years ago and are often registered (by me) online as part of my collection. Buy electronics from me with confidence. I will even tell you what it is worth if you plan on reselling it.
