CivCity: Rome Is it for you??
If you are a fan of city building games like Caesar III, Pharoah, Zeus or Rise of the Middle Kingdom then CivCity: Rome is most likely a great choice for you. The gameplay is easy and the possibilities are endless. Of course you usually need to complete things in the right order and have a certain layout to achieve the goals set forth. Some things have been said about the controls for the game. Occasionally the cursor does not line up to where the mouse actually is. It took me all of about 30 seconds to get the mouse figured out so any complaining on that part is just something that doesn't need to be done. The graphics could be better, but aren't terrible, they just don't compare favorably to games like Ages of Empires III. If you are looking for a quick city building fix that isn't too in depth or complicated this game is for you. If you want an extremely deep involved game, this just isn't it and you would be better off with Caesar IV.

Not as good as PSP version
The PSP version of Dark Mirror was truly an incredible experience, but its port to the PS2 leaves a lot to be desired. Some grainy visuals, removed gameplay elements and easier sections makes the title somewhat weaker. The largest issue, of course has to be the missing multiplayer, which added so much replay value. While it's still an enjoyable title, particularly for the incredible story and the presentation of the game world, this is by no means as solid as its UMD counterpart. If you are a huge fan of the series, still buy it, but for casual gamers, I'd look elsewhere.
