Silverstone has integrated sustainable practices throughout all aspects of the company—from management to store and warehouse operations, as well as in purchasing and selling. History/background
Silverstone Fabrics has its roots in a family run upholstery shop founded in Charlotte, North Carolina in 1959. It grew from a true mom and pop organization to one of the largest regional upholstery companies in North Carolina. After four years of planning, research, and implementation on the internet, we launched our new family of companies--Silverstone Fabrics, Retro | Modern | Contract | Fabrics, The Upholstery Solution, and Vi-Shake Break.

Can you trust us?
YES! Our professional staff has over 50 combined years in custom furniture, upholstery and fine fabrics and leathers, as well as more than 12 years of selling experience on eBay. We are happy to assist you with any sort of guidance or advice you need!
Payment policy
Payment is due within 5 business days of purchase. We accept Paypal online and all major credit cards by phone. We do not accept checks or money orders.
Shipping information
Shipping Time: We ship within 1-2 days of receiving cleared payment.
Packaging: The great majority of our fabrics are rolled on a fabric tube to avoid wrinkling and creasing. The fabric is then wrapped in 6 ml plastic to provide excellent protection during shipping. Leather hides are shipped rolled, NEVER folded.
Destinations: We currently ship worldwide.
Shipping Carrier: We use UPS for all continental US shipments. USPS is our carrier for international shipments and those going to Alaska, Hawaii, APO, and US territories. Please use eBay's shipping calculator to ascertain shipping to your location.
Shipping Discounts: We offer free shipping on orders of 5 yards or more shipped to the continental United States. We are happy to combine shipping on orders made within 3 days of one another. Please request an invoice when you are finished shopping so that we may adjust the shipping to reflect the combined discount.
Return policy
Returns must be made with prior authorization. Please call or email for an authorization code before mailing your package. Make sure the authorization code is marked clearly on both the outside of the package and on the packing slip inside.
We do not accept returns of fabric that we custom cut for you.
Fabric or leather sold as one piece is returnable so long as it arrives back to us in original condition (uncut, unwashed, untreated and free of marks and wrinkles). If it was shipped rolled on a tube, it must be returned rolled on a tube.
We process refunds within 5 business days of receiving the item back and after the item has been inspected. We refund purchase price only, not original shipping. Return shipping is also the responsibility of the buyer.

We are happy to provide up to 6 free samples.
To request samples, please email or call us. In your email, please provide your name and mailing address. Ebay does not provide this information to us unless you actually buy an item. Also include the complete item title including the letter/digit code at the end of the title.

You may have noticed the growing number of samples in our eBay store. This is part of the re-tooling of our listings in response to eBay's new listing policy.
