Good enough...
The book itself is being strictly used for class purposes. Not much has changed from previous editions, except some page numberings and minor additions. However, the material itself can be a bit confusing at times, but it gets the job done. Does not have an entire list of formulas used other than the "commonly used formulas" which unfortunately for me, are not the ones I use most often. So far, no typos or other mistakes to be found, and the math is correct thus far.

Great beginner DSLR for newbies to photography.
This camera is a great camera for those looking to try out DSLR cameras. It is not considered a "Professional" camera by any means, however, it is a great camera to have for a first timer or beginner in the photography field. Make sure you pay attention to the lenses you choose to shoot with this camera as the type of glass (lens) you choose to use can make or break your photos. As with any camera, assuming you're NOT a professional (or you'd of gotten something better), you need to understand how to use this camera outside of the AUTO features. If you want to shoot in AUTO, buy a point and shoot style camera. You really need to take the time to learn the manual settings to get the most from this camera.

Great quality at pro-sumer price
The quality and features ARE exactly the same as the PD150. Which is very similar to a VX2100/PD170. However, the differences are so minute it's hardly visible to the naked eye if at all. The only drawback to this camera along with the VX2100 is the fact that it does not allow an on board XLR mic to be directly connected. You would have to buy a separate XLR adapter to accommodate that need. This is really the only difference that is truly noticeable from the VX and PD series cameras.
