We are originally from England where antiques & collectables have been around since the year dot! So I grew up with wonderful things all around me. We emigrated to Canada a bit late in life in 1989 when my husband was offered a job here & we love it.

Wade collectables, pottery & porcelain items, small collectables, prints, books, old toys, wooden items, jewelry, some vintage clothing, old plastics / lucite, vintage glass, old photos, unusual items, wood carvings, bird & animal collectables, some silver plate & other metals, books, and other miscellaneous in fact everything I have enjoyed collecting and admiring for years.

Anything pretty or interesting, I love porcelain & bisque figurines & anything to do with animals, I have collected all kinds of souviners since I was 10. I love portrait plates, I love books I never really get to read them all I just love to look at the pictures and read parts of interest. My interests are varied I start collections of anything that I like and can afford to buy at the time my interests are endless.

I have written the Wade Collectable books for the Charlton Press. I have also written other Collectables books that were not published, I love talking to people, I love animals and birds of all kinds, I study wildlife, their habits and their habitats, and try in any way I can to make life easier for them. I have over the past 18 years taken in and cared for more than 10 sick, injured, very nervous and ill treated stray cats, at present I have one male ginger cat a male Tabby cat and a small but very plump female tabby.

I was Born in 1944 in Paddington, London, England. When I was 10 years old we lived a short walk from Church Street, Paddington, & a bus ride from Portobello Road & Petticoat Lane which are all well known now for their Antique markets & shops, in the 1950s they were called Junk Shops I went to the markets with my mother & we searched the Junk Shops to find pretty things. I usually spent my 2/6d (10c) pocket money on pretty bits & pieces of china. I still have a lot of those in my collections today! Some of my collecting interests are costume jewelry, old books with pretty covers, games & toys, photos, postcards, stamps, childrens books, wood carvings, vintage plastic items, lucite etc, porcelain animals & Figurines, boxes, paintings, prints & anything else that I thought was unusual. I emigrated from England to Ontario, Canada in 1989 when my husband who worked for 'M&M Mars' for 25 years in the UK was offered a job in their new Canadian factory. We are now Canadian Citizens

I started collecting at age ten I bought pretty & unusual things at a local street market every weekend when I was given my pocket money which was 2/6d (approx 10cents) I still have most of those 10 cent items in my collections. I started collecting Wade for my daughter in 1974 at local antique fairs & shops & found that I had a knack for researching information on them for her and started writing a book about Wade Whimsies which was published in England in 1986. Since then I have written / updated a total of 15 books on Wade I have written other books on collectables that have not been published. I have been married for 47 years & have two daughters & four super grandchildren whose ages range from 4-19 yrs. I have always been a collector & still am although I am trying to empty my house I just cannot stop buying more, I have been doing it for over 50 years & now I enjoy passing on my treasures to new owners.

I am happy to accept PayPal, an International Money Order, a Cashiers Cheque or a Personal cheque which will take up to 12 days to clear.

I pack very well my feedback will attest to that, I will always mail your purchases within 3-5 days of receiving payment, the only time I would be late mailing is if I have had to leave town in an emergency. I round up the shipping cost to the nearest $ and add $1.00 - $3.00 for handling, that's just to help pay for my packing materials, time, and gas to town etc.

I have never had a buyer want to return an item they bought from me so I did not have a return policy, But eBay say sellers have to give a return policy now so here is mine. = All my items are sold as seen and described in my listings. I only sell items that I was happy to buy for myself. I feel my starting prices are good and fair. I describe my items as best I can, I make note of any damage on the item, so please make sure you read and understand my descriptions. If you like the photo of the item and you are happy with my description there should be no reason for you to want to return it. BUT if you do I will only accept a return (Buyer pays for return shipping) if I have Grossly Misrepresented the condition of my item or have made a huge mistake in my listing!
