It worked perfectly with my laptop.
I bought this Acoustic System to hook up to my laptop, to play music from my laptop for family gatherings. The item was as described. It contained all the plugs needed. Hooked up perfectly to my laptop. I wish it played a little louder for outside (probably should have bought a higher wattage), but it probably was not meant to be used outside. Overall, VERY HAPPY WITH IT. This is my first surround sound/acoustic system, so I can not really compare to others.
